Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement and Platform Role

These Terms govern access to cAzieo services operated by DONEZO (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. By registering or accepting these Terms in the applicable service flow, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and does not replace any consent required for a particular activity.

cAzieo provides technology interfaces, onboarding support and service access. Micro ATM and other financial transactions are facilitated through relevant third-party aggregators or processors and their contracted banking and payment arrangements.

Payment gateway functions and PPI wallet functions are performed under the relevant provider and authorised issuer arrangements. cAzieo is not represented under these Terms as a bank or independently authorised PPI issuer.

The actual acquiring bank, banking provider, processor and PPI issuer, as applicable, will be identified in the relevant service disclosures. Provider-specific terms apply to that provider's product. Mandatory law prevails over inconsistent terms. Our own service obligations and liabilities are not eliminated by using a third party.

2. Eligibility and Verification

General users must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into contracts.

Merchants, retailers and partners must have authority to act for their business and complete all required onboarding procedures.

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Promptly update material changes to submitted information.
  • Complete applicable KYC and verification requirements.
  • Meet provider-specific approval and geographic eligibility requirements.

Each financial service may require additional KYC, verification, provider approval or geographic eligibility. Registration of an account does not guarantee approval for every service.

3. Account and Device Security

You are responsible for keeping passwords, MPINs, OTPs and registered devices secure. Do not disclose authentication secrets to merchants, support personnel or any other person.

You must promptly report a lost device, suspected compromise or unauthorised transaction through the published support channels.

We may apply device binding, location checks and risk controls. Where enabled, changing a registered device may restrict wallet transactions for 24 hours. The applicable restriction will be shown in the relevant account flow.

Responsibility for an unauthorised payment is determined under applicable law and the regulated provider's customer protection framework. These Terms do not impose automatic liability on you merely because your credentials were used.

4. Services and Availability

Services may include Micro ATM card transactions, permitted Aadhaar-enabled services, UPI cash services, transfers, bill payments, recharges and eligible wallet or prepaid card functions where enabled.

Availability depends on effective provider arrangements, verification, network connectivity, device capability, cash availability and applicable permissions. A displayed feature is not a promise that it is available to every account.

We may suspend a function for security, maintenance, provider interruption or legal requirements, with notice where reasonably practicable. We do not guarantee continuous availability but will take reasonable steps to address interruptions within our control.

5. cAzieo Cash and Prepaid Card Wallet

The user interface may display two separate balances named cAzieo Cash and Prepaid Card Wallet. These names are product labels and do not establish banking or PPI authorisation.

Any balance that constitutes regulated stored value must be issued and maintained under the actual authorised PPI issuer's arrangement. Before activation, the service must identify the issuer, who holds the funds, permitted uses, applicable KYC category, charges and customer protection terms.

Loading, spending, transfer, withdrawal, interoperability, expiry and closure rights depend on the permitted product type, KYC status, issuer terms and applicable RBI rules.

Do not assume all wallet or gift card products allow cash withdrawal or fund transfer. Small PPIs and gift products may have restrictions that do not apply to eligible full KYC products.

Where permitted and enabled, cAzieo Cash may be transferred to the Prepaid Card Wallet. Transfers back may be restricted; the restriction must be disclosed before confirmation.

Such a product restriction does not override mandatory refund, closure or redemption rights. Wallet balances are not represented as interest-bearing bank deposits or automatically covered by bank deposit insurance.

6. Micro ATM and Assisted Cash Transactions

Confirm the transaction type, amount, displayed charges and masked account information before authenticating.

Card authentication must occur through the approved device and provider flow. Biometric authentication must follow the permitted Aadhaar-enabled process. Retailers must obtain customer authorisation and must not initiate transactions without the customer's knowledge.

For withdrawals, check and count the cash and retain the receipt. For any permitted cash deposit or cash-based wallet loading, use only an approved service point, verify the receipt and check the final credit status.

Do not treat cash handed over or an application success screen alone as proof of final banking settlement if the provider records a different status.

If your account is debited but cash is not received, cash is short, a credit is missing or the status is pending, report the reference, amount, time and service point promptly.

Do not repeat a pending transaction until its status is checked, as this may result in a second debit. Delayed reporting does not remove rights provided by mandatory law.

7. Transaction Authorisation and Status

You are responsible for checking recipient details, amount and service selection before authorising a transaction. Once submitted, a transaction may not be cancellable.

We will assist with recovery or dispute processes where available, but cannot guarantee recovery of a completed payment sent to an incorrect recipient.

Pending, successful, failed and reversed states are determined through provider responses and reconciliation. A pending transaction is neither a confirmed failure nor a guarantee of completion.

Receipts and transaction history will carry available reference information. We may correct a proven ledger error with an audit record and notice where appropriate, subject to applicable law and dispute rights.

8. Fees, Limits and Settlement

Applicable platform fees, provider charges and taxes must be shown before transaction confirmation or disclosed in the accepted merchant agreement. Retailers must not charge undisclosed or prohibited amounts.

Charges and commissions may vary by enabled service and plan. Changes will apply prospectively with required notice.

Transaction limits and settlement cycles follow applicable law, issuer requirements, provider arrangements and disclosed risk controls.

Merchant or retailer operational balances and settlement ledgers are distinct from consumer PPI balances. Settlement terms must identify deductions, holds and the dispute process. We will not arbitrarily confiscate legitimate balances.

9. Failed Payments, Reversals and Refunds

Eligible failed transactions, reversals, duplicate debits and refunds are processed through the relevant bank, payment system or issuer.

The turnaround time and any mandatory compensation follow the rules applicable to the transaction. These Terms do not replace those requirements with an indefinite waiting period or a blanket no-refund condition.

Refunds for goods or services also depend on the merchant's lawful cancellation policy. Refunds will ordinarily return to the original source or another route permitted by the provider and applicable law.

We may request transaction evidence but will never request a card PIN or CVV to process a complaint. Chargebacks and unauthorised transaction claims follow the applicable provider process.

10. Merchant and Retailer Responsibilities

Merchants and retailers must:

  • Use approved devices and authorised credentials.
  • Maintain accurate business, KYC, settlement and service location details.
  • Display applicable charges.
  • Provide valid receipts.
  • Maintain sufficient cash where cash services are offered.
  • Cooperate with reconciliation and complaint investigations.

Merchants and retailers must not:

  • Retain customer PINs, OTPs or raw authentication biometrics.
  • Retain prohibited card data.
  • Conduct fictitious transactions.
  • Split transactions to evade applicable limits.
  • Share device access with unauthorised persons.
  • Collect unauthorised fees.
  • Use customer data for unrelated marketing.

Customer information may be used only for the permitted transaction or disclosed purpose and must be protected against unauthorised access.

A separate merchant or retailer agreement may cover commissions, device ownership, deposits, settlement, installation and support. It must be expressly accepted and cannot override mandatory customer protection or privacy obligations.

11. Prohibited Use and Restrictions

You must not use the platform for fraud, money laundering, unlawful products, impersonation, unauthorised access, exploitation of software errors or circumvention of verification and transaction limits.

We may restrict access or a transaction where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, protect security or comply with law. Notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue will be given where lawful and practicable.

A restriction does not automatically forfeit funds. Any hold, release, recovery or reporting must follow applicable law and the relevant issuer or provider process.

We may be unable to disclose details of a confidential regulatory or fraud investigation.

12. Security and PCI Statement

We maintain reasonable safeguards and Indian data storage arrangements as described in the Privacy Policy.

We are preparing for PCI DSS assessment and validation and are not currently PCI certified or independently validated as PCI DSS compliant.

Preparation does not guarantee the outcome of an assessment. No reference to a partner's certification constitutes certification of cAzieo.

13. Third-Party Products and Intellectual Property

Banks, issuers, networks, merchants and other providers may supply their own products, terms and notices. We will provide the relevant disclosures and support routing.

We do not guarantee the quality of an independent merchant's goods, but remain responsible for our own applicable duties.

Platform software, branding and content belong to their respective owners. You receive a limited right to use the service for its authorised purpose.

You may not copy, resell, interfere with or reverse engineer the platform except where permitted by law or expressly authorised.

Third-party marks do not imply endorsement beyond the actual service arrangement.

14. Responsibility and Liability

Each party remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law.

cAzieo is not responsible for a loss solely caused by an event outside its reasonable control where it has exercised the required care, subject to mandatory law.

We remain responsible for failures attributable to our own acts or omissions to the extent required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer remedies, customer protection for unauthorised payments, required failed-transaction compensation, or liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

We do not apply a blanket exclusion for all banking, gateway or wallet transactions.

15. Closure and Termination

You may request account closure through support or an available account function. Closure is subject to identity verification, completion of pending transactions and lawful handling of remaining balances.

Eligible refunds or redemption will be processed according to the actual issuer's rules. Required records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.

We may terminate access for a material breach, legal restriction or discontinued service, with notice where lawful and practicable.

Legitimate balances, outstanding obligations and unresolved complaints will be handled through the appropriate provider process rather than automatically cancelled.

16. Complaints and Escalation

For complaints or service-related concerns, contact cazieo.in@gmail.com or call +91-9787711229, or use the available support function.

When contacting support, provide your transaction reference, amount, date and details of the issue.

Never send a PIN, CVV, password or OTP.

We will register the complaint and coordinate with the relevant provider while maintaining responsibility for matters within our role.

The relevant PPI issuer's or banking provider's customer support and escalation contacts are provided in the applicable product disclosures. You may also request those contacts from cAzieo support.

Complaints will follow applicable resolution timelines. If eligible and unresolved, you may use the relevant regulated provider's escalation process and the RBI Integrated Ombudsman framework through RBI's Complaint Management System, subject to its coverage and eligibility rules.

This does not mean cAzieo itself is automatically covered by that framework. Consumer forums and other statutory remedies remain available where applicable.

17. Changes, Governing Law and Severability

We may update these Terms and will publish the effective date and communicate material changes where required. Additional acceptance will be obtained when required.

Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued customer rights. You may stop using the affected service and request closure subject to lawful settlement.

Indian law governs these Terms.

Subject to mandatory jurisdiction and consumer rights, courts of competent jurisdiction in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu will hear disputes.

No provision prevents use of a legally available consumer forum, regulator or ombudsman.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful.
